GAFFNEY, SC-- Grace Helen Phillips Mullinax, 78, formerly of W. Ninth Street, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Peachtree Centre.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Bobby B. Mullinax and was the daughter of the late Adolphus Phillips and Ruth Wilson Phillips. Mrs. Mullinax retired from Hamricks, Inc. and was a member of Limestone Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Beattie and husband, Barry, of Chesnee and Pam Bishop and husband, Mark, of Spartanburg; four grandchildren: Alison Shaw and husband, Bill, Russell Beattie and wife, Ashley, David Bishop, and Lauren Bishop; a great-granddaughter, Caroline Shaw, and an expected great-grandson, Nolan Beattie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Singleton and the Rev. Vernon Thornhill officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
