SPARTANBURG, SC-- Kenneth Eugene Biggs, 76, of Spartanburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22,2 014 at Magnolia Place Nursing Home. He was the husband of Cecelia Kress Biggs.
Mr. Biggs was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of the late Harley D. and Dossie Suttles Biggs. He was a retired employee of Arrow Automotive and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Larry Biggs of Spartanburg; a daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Dean Mabry of Cowpens; a step-son and daughter -in-law: Richard and Kim Cansler of Moore, SC; a step-daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Rickie Netherton of Boiling Springs; a brother: Glenn Biggs of Spartanburg; a sister: Faye Deal of Spartanburg; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Eggers Funeral Chapel of Boiling Springs officiated by Rev. Todd Black. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Turning Point Freewill Baptist Church, PO Box 160668, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
The family will be at 324 Kilt Court, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
