CHESNEE, SC-- Mrs. Pauline Robbins Jackson, 89, of Chesnee passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home. Born October 11, 1924, she was the widow of Crawford Lester Jackson and the daughter of the late Mack Robbins and Onie Tyler Robbins. She retired from Inman Mills and at an earlier age she was a nurse for the TB Hospital. She was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and worked in the nursery.
She is survived by her sister, Nellie Lail; sister in-law, Twyla Robbins, brother in-law, Doc Bailey; nephews, Mack Robbins and Paul Cash; nieces, Connie Cannon, Glennis Davis and Jean Lawter; and a great niece and nephew, Ashely and Michael Robbins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Robbins; sisters, Willie Mae Cash, Lois Blair, Jeanette Robbins, Montie Bailey and Maxine Robbins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Eggers Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Daniel Godfrey officiating.
Pallbearers will be Paul Cash, Charlie Cash, Hal Hines, Jody Bailey, Cody Greer, and Terry Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an underprivileged children's
