SPARTANBURG, SC- Mrs. Fannie M. Fuller Cohen, 95, was born August 21, 1918 to the late Mr. Willie Fuller and the late Mrs. Nettie Sue Holcombe Fuller. She peacefully entered into rest on June 28, 2014. Mrs. Fannie Fuller Cohen was the widow of Joe Nathan Cohen. She was a native of Spartanburg County.
Fannie was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Roebuck, South Carolina where she served in several capacities. She was also a member of the Roberta Liberty Chapter #133 Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Cohen leaves to cherish her loving memories: her three daughters, Mrs. Nettie (Larry) McKenzie of Peekskill, NY, Mrs. Addie (Paul) Ferguson of Spartanburg, SC and Mrs. Barbara (Johnny) Robinson of Manhattan, NY; her sons, Sammie (Diana) Cohen of Spartanburg, SC and Robert L. Cohen of Jamaica, NY; her sisters Mrs. Gertrude Draper of Glendale, SC and Mrs. Gladys Tucker of Roebuck, SC; her brother Jimmy Fuller of Roebuck, SC; two sisters in-law; two brothers in-law; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Private Eastern Star rites will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Fannie Fuller Cohen will be held at 2: 00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2800 Stone Station Road, Roebuck 29376. The Reverend Dr. Patrick Suber will officiate. Interment will be in the Foster Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at home of her daughter, Addie Ferguson, 180 Ferguson Court.
