Jeremy Phillips
CHESNEE, SC-- Jeremy Ryan Phillips, 25, 162 Cranston Road, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was the fiance' of Danielle Hazelrigg.
Mr. Phillips was born in Greenville County and was the beloved son of Susan Phillips of Boiling Springs, SC. He spent his early years in Arkansas and he returned faithfully each year. He was a 2005 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was a devoted employee of Welchel Electrical Contractors, where he was an electrician. He attended New Beginnings United Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by maternal grandfather, Horace Phillips of Gaffney, SC; special Godparent, Hazel McGriff of Star City, AR; special aunt, uncle and cousin: Paula, Russell and Taylor Crews; aunts and uncles: Diane and Bobby Reynolds, Tina and Tim Durham, Kinnett and Gwen Phillips, David Phillips and Todd Bellew; and cousins: Danny and Wendy Gibson, Donnie and Diana Gibson, Michelle and Nic Carracino, Casey and Heather Phillips, Matthew Brown and Kaitlin Brown. He leaves behind his cherished pets, Lucy, Pepper, and Diesel and many treasured friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jean Phillips; and special Godparent, Wayne McGriff.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. on Friday, May 25, 2012, in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Dr. Clyde Thomas. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens, Gaffney, SC.
