GAFFNEY, SC-- Jimmy Wayne Rhinehart, Sr., 59, of 278 Daniel Morgan School Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the husband of Elaine Connor Rhinehart of the home, was the son of the late Elbert Lee Rhinehart and Kathryn Johnson Crane Rhinehart, and was the stepson of Geneva Ann Rhinehart of Clifton. Mr. Rhinehart was formerly employed by Clarkson Heavy Equipment and Para-Chem, was a Mason at Clifton Lodge, loved fishing and traveling, and was a member of Gateway to Life Baptist Tabernacle.
Surviving in addition to his wife and stepmother, is a son, Jimmy Rhinehart, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Jack of Chesnee and Stacy Loftis and husband, Chris, of the home; three sisters, Kathy Gulledge and husband, Alan, of Ruby, SC, Barbara Grigsby and husband, Gary, of Boiling Springs, SC and Miriam Lockman of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Madison Johnson (his pretty little princess) and Jack Johnson, III; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Gateway to Life Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. David Connor and Rev. Tony Clements officiating. Interment will be in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
