Ralph Baer Obituary
HOLLY SPRINGS, MS-- Ralph (Rafe) H. Baer III, 74, of Holly Springs, MS, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. Born August 24, 1938, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Ralph (Rafe) H. Baer Jr. and Louise West Baer.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Howe Baer; children, Lisa Lingo (Jonathan), Pam Small (Joe), and Ralph (Bubba) H. Baer IV (Karen); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Cara (Tata) Baer Murphy (Larry), nieces, and multiple cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his infant son, Theodore (Teddy) Howe Baer.
He attended Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, MO, and graduated from South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind in Spartanburg, SC.
A memorial service will be held in Charlotte at a later date.

Bubba, Karen, Austin and Family... We were all so sorry to hear about Ralph. Please know that each of you have been in our thoughts and prayers over this last week. It is never easy to let someone that you love go but just remember that this was not a goodbye this was a see you later... Keep all of your memories close to your heart and they will help you through. We love you...

Gone but not forgetten by his dearest deaf friends from NC and SC. Well known for his loyal contributions to the deaf communities. He wil be missed but he is celebrating his rebirth with The Lord above us.
