WOODRUFF, SC-- Clyde Bobby "Bob" Taylor,75, of 310 Harris Bridge Road died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare surrounded by all of his loving family.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was son of the late Jack "Ox" Taylor and Lottie Green Taylor. He was retired owner of Innovative Machine Shop and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of Bethel Masonic Lodge #112 and the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy "Pat" Leonard Taylor of the home; two sons, Mark Taylor and his wife, Leigh Ann of Charleston and Chris Taylor and his wife, Cindi of Woodruff; one sister, Elizabeth Kilpatrick of Woodruff; two brothers, Sammy Taylor of Woodruff and Claudell Taylor of Woodruff; 6 grandchildren, Autumn Taylor Johnston and her husband, Josh, Micah Taylor and his wife, Jessica, Mark Taylor II, Hannah Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Emily Taylor; one great-grandson, Ryken Johnston. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Jackie Taylor. Mr. Taylor also leaves behind all his friends at the Turtle Parfait in Woodruff.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church by Rev. Doug Huntsinger and Mr. Mark Taylor. Entombment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 1:15-2:45 prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 9480 Hwy. 221, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
The family is at the residence.
