Big Al...Al Franklin Wilkins was the kindest most real person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting( big giant of a man He impacted my life & had a lasting impression as a good friend & mentor. I never met his brother Wash but it was so sad that he passed on his brother Wash's birthday. About 4 months before he passed i was in Gaffney & he took me to cemetery to see his family's plot( I suspect it was an omen & he felt the time was near). I loved Al like he was an older brother & will never ever forget him. God bless his soul.
