Ronald Gist
Mr. Ronald Gist, 65, of 293 Cambridge Drive, Union S.C., widower of Mrs. Naomi Ward Gist, died Saturday July 22nd 2017 at his home.
Mr. Gist was born March 31st 1952 a son of Mrs. Helen Foster Gist of Union the late Robert Gist Sr. He was a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church and had recently retired from the Sonoco Company.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters Adrien Looper (Timothy) Amanda Yendall (Aaron), one brother Rob Gist Jr., and six grandchildren Aeon and Adyn Yendall, Ethan Gist, Jacob Looper, William Reese Looper and Naomi Claire Looper.
Graveside services will be held Friday July 28th 2017 at 12 noon at Union Memorial Gardens With Pastor Merritt Wentz officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10am-11:30 am prior to the service at Lewis Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital. To donate call 1-800-241-GIFT. The family is at the home of his mother Helen Gist, 305 Springdale Drive Union S.C.
