ROCKPORT – Cloweda H. Little, 91, of Rockport departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in Rockport.
Cloweda was born on October 3, 1925, in Spencer County, Indiana to the late Charles and Amanda (Haycraft) Hagan.
She had worked several years at the Lincoln State Park and Bailey's Clothing Store. Later in life she was a caregiver for elderly. In 1941 she married Cap Hess of Tell City, to this union three daughters were born, Joyce, Donna and Cleda. In 1953 she married Richard Little and to this union one daughter was born, Vicki. She joined and was baptized in 1955 at Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Rockport American Legion and Tell City V.F.W. for over 55 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Little; Daughter, Donna Allen and her husband, Larry; Granddaughter, Luann Garrett; Siblings, Maggie Daniel, Alice Warnke, Mary Seibert, Lester "Peck" Hagan, Joey Hagan, Herbert Hagan; Dear friend, Ernie Smith.
Cloweda is survived by her children, Joyce Waddell and her husband, Ron of Forrest, Va.; Cleda Garrett and her husband, Ronnie of Rockport; Vicki Adkisson and her husband, Bill of Rockport; her grandchildren, Scott Waddell and his wife, Terry; Kevin Waddell and his wife, Eileen; Kristi Oliver and her husband, Tom; Chris Allen and his wife, Julie; Jessica Hoehler and her husband, Mark; Rhonda Garrett; David Green and his wife, Amy; Denny Ray Green and his wife, Rachel; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Wallace and Carl Hagan and her sister-in-law, Martha Smith; Also surviving are extended family members and a dear friend, Janet Geer.
Services will be at1 P.M. Friday, Sept. 8,at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer County Hospice Association and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
