David Claise, 53, of Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at his home.
David was born on Sept. 17, 1965, in Tell City, to the late August James and Elizabeth Joanne (Cotton) Claise.
He was a graduate of South Spencer High School and had worked as a maintenance mechanic at Waupaca.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Alice Claise.
David is survived by his fiancé, Mary Seavers of Newburgh; a son, Nick Claise and his wife, Amanda, of Glasgow Ky.; a daughter, Christeen Campbell and her husband, Dakota, of Chrisney; a grandson Holden Campbell; his adopted daughters, Jennifer Boester, Christina Slupik, Andrea Seavers; his brothers, Dennis Claise and his wife, Dawn, of Grandview and Mark Claise and his wife, Jeanna, of Grandview; his sisters Brenda Garrett and her husband, Kenny, of Newburgh, and Wanda Claise of Newburgh.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
Visitation will take place from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service, at the funeral home.
