RICHLAND – Faye Allene Brandenberger, 84, of Richland passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Signature Health Care of Newburgh.
Faye was born in Spencer County Nov. 1, 1929, to the late Allen and Fannie (Parker) Bennett.
Faye was a graduate of Rockport High School. She was a homemaker and beautician at Klein's Hair Fashions of Evansville for many years. She was a member of Richland Christian Church and the Evansville Bicycle Club.
Faye was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star Garnet Chapter 146. Faye liked to play the piano, cook and travel on a tandem bicycle with her husband, Marion. Together they visited every state in the country except Hawaii. She enjoyed taking time to make delicious meals from scratch, prepared with vegetables from her garden.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Gentry.
Faye is survived by her husband, Marion Brandenberger of Richland; her children, Rita Fox and her husband, Steve, of Newburgh; Jim Stuteville and his wife, Tracy, of Evansville; Jeff Stuteville and his wife, Julie, of Evansville; her grandchildren, Julie Mayse and her husband, Chad; Karen DeTalente and her husband, Chad; Ryan Stuteville and his wife, Jennifer; Jamie Stuteville, Jess Stuteville and Josie Stuteville; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Roth and her husband, Delano and her brother-in-law, James Howard Gentry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with the Revs. Drex Stuart and Jim Stuteville officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland Christian Church and the Hands and Feet Project.
