Jerald "Jerry" Weber, 76, passed away on Jan. 7, 2018, at his residence.
Jerry was born on April 1, 1941, in Evansville, IN. to the late Ralph H. Weber and Ella Marie (Haynes) Hill.
Jerry was a millwright with Union #1080, a deacon at First Free Will Baptist Church in Owensboro, Ky., and a member of the Gwaltney Park Board. He was well loved, a wonderful dad, a perfectionist at woodworking, and the most honest man his family knew.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Bettye (Grose) Weber; son, Anthony "Tony" Weber and his wife, Edie, of Rockport; daughters Lisa Jeanette Curtis and husband, William T., of Sevierville, Tenn., Jerilyn Renee Buchanan of Evansville, Lana Stinson and husband, Bill of Mt. Washington, Ky.; grandchildren Faith Utley, Heather Basham, Ehrin Midkiff, Brittney Midkiff, Dena, Nikki, Christopher Buchanan, Amanda Ashby, Rachel Weber, Chelsea Hall, Owen Stinson, Andrew Stinson, Zach Stinson, and Abbey Stinson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with the Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.
