=Kenneth Roland Adamson II, 74, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at his home in Hatfield.
Kenny was born Feb. 7, 1943, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Kenneth Roland and Alice (Beckort) Adamson.
He retired from Alcoa from the hot mill in 2006 after 34 years of employment. He also worked for Schlumberger for more than seven years.
Kenny was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Kenny enjoyed woodworking, working on cars and his flower garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Danny Adamson and a sister, Darlene Fellows
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Gerry Adamson of Hatfield; his children, Lea Wilkinson of Rockport, Ken and his wife, Crista Adamson of Rockport, Erin and her husband, Jim Suter of Boonville, Greg Adamson of Hatfield, Courtney and her husband, Ken Gordon of Colona, Ill., and Whitney and her husband, Nick Payne of Owensboro, Ky.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Austin and Shayna Wilkinson, Keegan and Bre Adamson, Tyler, Taylor, and Trey Suter, Jesse and Jackson Adamson, Halee and Justin Gordon, Madeline and Silas Payne; his aunts, Gin Anderson, Clara Adamson and Margie Schraner; his uncles, Jimmy and his wife Dorothey Beckort, Fred and his wife Thelma Beckort; a brother-in-law, Bill and his wife Vickie Adkisson; sister-in laws Liz Rust, Rose Frank, Martha Young, Sharon and her husband, Michael Smith, Bea and her husband, Paul Anwiler, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were Tuesday, Dec. 19, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport with Father Ron Krelien officiating. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Boultinghouse Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
