Mary Adelene Sarver, 91, passed away on June 29, 2018, at Transcendent Healthcare in Boonville.
Mary Adelene "Addie" was born in Richland on April 7, 1927, to the late John Russell and Margaret (Shoptaugh) Wahl.
Addie was a graduate of Luce Township High School, was a homemaker and seamstress, and farmed on her family farm. She loved to quilt, was an amazing seamstress, liked crocheting, cross stitching, was a wonderful baker and cook, and loved yard work and her flowers. She loved to work and stay busy, babysitting her grandkids and listening to country music such as Alan Jackson, Vince Gill and Charlie Pride.
Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Sarver and a daughter, Mary Margaret Sarver.
Addie is survived by a son, Rick Sarver and his wife Katherine of Westfield; daughters, Janet Sue Sarver of Richland, Jerri Blemker and her husband Kevin of Oakland City; a brother, Marshall Wahl and his wife Jane of Richland; grandchildren, Scott Sarver, Kimberly Harrington, Chris Blemker, and Jordan Blemker; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden, Isla, Jocelyn, Hudson, and Luke.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 3, at noon at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland.
Visitation will take place 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
