Scottie Dewayne Lewis

Mr. Scottie Dewayne Lewis, age 49, passed away July 25, 2014 at Norton Downtown Hospital Louisville. He was a farmer and a family man, enjoying his children and grandchildren. He was born in Shelbyville and was a resident of the Cox's Creek Community.

He is survived by his mother Sue Goode and her fiancé Gerald Hood of Crestwood; father, William Lewis and his wife Kathy of Mt. Washington; daughter Savannah Lewis and her husband Terry Smith of Waddy; son Jarrod Lewis and his wife Jennifer of Cox's Creek; also sons Logan and Nicholas Lewis of Cox's Creek; sisters Karen Tindle and her husband Mike of Elk Creek; and Regina Dile and her husband William of Bardstown; sisters Lora Lewis of Mt. Washington, and Leslie Lewis of Louisville; a special aunt Rita Barr of Bardstown; 2 grandchildren also survive.

It was the wish of Mr. Lewis to be cremated and a memorial service be held at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made in care of the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville who is in charge of arrangements.
