Virgil Lee Hardin

Virgil Lee Hardin, 81, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Washington County and the son of the late Andy Hayden and Nettie Jane Hardin.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Carolyn Keeling, and a brother, Raymond Hardin.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Trent Hardin; three daughters, Jeanie (Gary) Barnes of Lyons Station, Deborah (Larry) Curtsinger and Sandra (Tracy) Yates, both of Bloomfield; and three brothers, Ezra Lee (Emma) Hardin, James (Dorothy) Hardin and Robert Hardin, all of Taylorsville.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at the Taylorsville Church of God of Prophecy-Grace Chapel.
Services: 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 25, at the church with Bro. Johnny Hood and Bro. Prentice Milburn officiating. Burial: Highview Cemetery at Chaplin.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
