Billy W. Gray, age 67 of Fisherville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Manchester (Clay County) and graduated from Spencer County High School. He retired from General Electric in 2006 after 36 years of service. He was a member of MENSA. He loved wood carving and was a member of the Wood Carvers club. Bill was also an avid fisherman and loved bass fishing. He was well-known for his hand crafted fishing lures.

He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Hall; parents, Enoch and Elsie Gray; sister, Ruby Smith; brother, Elihu Gray; and his grandparents, Bam and Gus Gray.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce Kay Meeks Gray; sons, Robb and Bryan (Katie); grandsons, Cody, Kennedy and Jacob; sister, Judy Chesser (Marshall); brother, Russell Gray; sister, Melissa MacAuley; mother-in-law, Mary Kay Meeks; beloved aunt, Lola Diamond; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Bill's life was held at 2 p.m. with a service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Bryan and Katie's home, 209 Kentucky Court, Mt. Washington, KY 40047.
