Mrs. Charles Mildred Hardin, age 66, passed away June 16, 2017, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Pearl Nicholson Stevens in Spencer County. She was a former employee of Conco Industries and retired from the Taylorsville Lake State Park. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed time spent with friends and family. She attended New Hope Church of Taylorsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janice Chesser, Barbara Hardin, and twin sisters Rita Faye, and Sandra Kay Stevens.

Mrs. Hardin is survived by her husband, James "Mousie" Hardin of Taylorsville; daughters, Kathy Goodwin (Ronnie) and Charlene Graves (Chris) both of Taylorsville; son, Darrin Hardin (Rosie) of Taylorsville; sisters, Shirley Rogers (Everett) of Finchville, Beulah Maddox of Taylorsville, and Joyce Donovan (Danny), also of Taylorsville; brother, William Stevens (Brenda) of Bardstown; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Charles Mildred Hardin was June 19, 2017, from 12 - 8 p.m. and 9 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. on June 20, 2017, at Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home with brothers James Hilbert and Joe Vires officiating. Interment was in Valley Cemetery. Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
