Dawson Glenn Eckler, 81, of Taylorsville, passed away at Signature Healthcare on April 30, 2013.
Mr. Eckler was the son of the late John William and Emma Mire Eckler.
A longtime resident of Taylorsville, he was a retired self-employed electrician and member of the Taylorsville First Christian Church. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky.
Eckler was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine (Kay) Lewis Eckler of Taylorsville; one daughter, Tracy (Michael) Pace of Taylorsville; two sons, Mark (Angela) Eckler of Buffalo Junction, Va.; Steve (Diane) Eckler of Bardstown; three sisters, Janice Fox of Frankfort, Loris Points of Lexington and Gail Eckler of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, Jack Eckler of Williamstown, Chuck Eckler of Richmond and Richie Eckler of Elberton, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Taylorsville First Christian Church.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Bro. Bill Dunning officiating.
