Edmond "Ed" Tindle, 75, of Little Mount, died on Tuesday, the 12th day of June, 2018, at his residence. Born in Shelby County, he was the son of Juanita Burgin Tindle and the late Lester Tindle, Sr. He was a member of the Little Mount Baptist Church. A farmer, he was also a certified welder, and formerly worked for American Air Filter in Shelbyville and Louisville. He served the citizens of Spencer County as magistrate for 12 years. Hunting, fishing, and softball were his favorite hobbies.

His survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Flowers Tindle of Little Mount; his son, Troy Beckham Tindle and his wife, Melissa, of Little Mount; his mother Juanita Burgin Tindle, of Southville; his brothers, Raymond Ellis Tindle and his wife, Doris, Boyce Tindle and his wife, Marie, and Lester Tindle, Jr., all of Little Mount, and Terry Lynn Tindle of Southville; his grandchildren, Kayla Dawn Tindle, Brandon Doss Tindle, and Jonathan Glenn Tindle.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, the 15th day of June, 2018, at the Little Mount Baptist Church, with Reverend David Clay and Reverend Joe Vires officiating. Interment was in the Little Mount Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was from 3 p.m., until 8 p.m., Thursday, the 14th day of June 2018, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville, and expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE First Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131.
