Edward Summers, 95, of Mount Washington passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Green Meadows Health Care Center.
Edward was affectionately known as the "Knife Man" and was a native of Spencer County. He retired from G.E. as a production worker; he was a member of Mount Eden Masonic Lodge for 70 years and was also a member of Kings Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel and his son, Bruce Summers.
Survivors include his nephews and caregivers, Jan Travis (Teri) and David Lee (Glenda) Nicholls; grandchildren, Suzanne (Rick) Cox and William Edward (Keisha) Summers; great grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Alyssa, Kenton, Emery and Kallen.
Services: 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2 at Ratterman and Sons, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Kings Baptist Church. Online donations may be made at www.Ratterman.com.
