Mamie Ruth Hilbert, 88, of Georgetown, Ind., died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Wellston Hospital in Jeffersonville, Ind.
A native of Nelson County, Hilbert was preceded in death by her parents, Liebert Alden and Verna Mae Stout Tingle; her husband, Clyde Thomas Hilbert; a daughter, Thelma L. Reid; and a half sister, Peggy Lucas.
Survivors include her daughters, Doris Jean Brown (Kevin), of Corydon, Ind., Carolyn Sue Smith (Terry), of Georgetown, Ind., and Anna Ruth Zimmerman (David), of Georgetown, Ind; and a brother, Gene Alden Tingle (Jo Ann), of Louisville.
Services will be Thursday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, Ind., with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
