Michael Crouch, 35, of Elk Creek, departed this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, the 13th day of June, 2018, at his residence. He will always be remembered as a kind and beautiful soul. Born in Louisville, he was the son of Charles Donald and Judy Wilson Crouch. He loved his church, the New Hope Tabernacle in Taylorsville.

A graduate of Bluegrass Community College, he earned his associate's degree in applied science, and worked as an electrician. A gifted musician, he formerly played the bass guitar in several bands. He was also a poet, and his writing was published in Colors of Life. His memberships included the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles "Bud" and Kathryn Crouch; his maternal grandfather, Isaac F. Wilson; and an uncle, James Wilson.

His survivors include his parents, Charles and Judy Crouch of Elk Creek; his fiancee, Donna Grimes; his maternal grandmother, Aileen Hays; his uncles and aunts, Richard and Veronica Crouch, Isaac and Brenda Wilson, and Lisa Landers; and numerous cousins and friends whom he loved and who loved him.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the New Hope Tabernacle Building Fund, 722 Townhill Road, Taylorsville, Kentucky 40071.
