A Taylorsville resident, Mr. Robert Lewis Morgenstern, age 67, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born April 23, 1950, in Akron, OH, to the late Lewis Frederick and Eva Lorraine Montgomery Morgenstern.

Robert was a retired employee of Koroseal Interior Products, a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and was a United States Navy Veteran.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Stark.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Shepherd Morgenstern; daughters, Stacey Denise Morgenstern and Jamie Lynn Morgenstern (Keith) McKinney, both of Louisville; sisters, Karen Hill of North Port, FL, Peg Wagner (Joe Rea) of Lower Salem, OH; brother, Jim (Connie) Morgenstern of Zanesville, OH; and grandchildren, Foster, Katelynn and Matthew.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lewis Morgenstern were held Friday, August 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Bro. Chad Goodlett and Fr. Dale Cieslik officiated. Interment was in Valley Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday from 3 - 8 p.m. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the . The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
