Mrs. Robyn Renee Asher Adcock, 53, of Little Mount, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 08, 2018, at home with close family and under the care of Hosparus Health of Louisville, after succumbing to a 6-year illness of lung cancer.

She was the daughter of Robert Bige Asher and Sylvia Louise Adkins Asher, and a retired employee of Spencer County Board of Education serving as the Cafeteria Manager of the Spencer Co. Middle School. Prior to her employment with the Board of Education, she was the owner and operator of Adcock Wireless as well as a Multi Unit Manager for Yum Brand Inc. Robyn was a member of Little Mount Baptist Church as well as a KY Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Louise Adkins Asher.

Survivors include her devoted and loving husband of 25 years, Ken Adcock; son, John W. Williams of Louisville; daughter, Amber N. Adcock (Faith Nation) of Taylorsville; father, Robert Bige (Linda) Asher of Madison, IN.; brother, Robert Bige "Buddy" (A.J.) Asher Jr. of Greer, SC.; sisters, Lana (Jimmy) Whiting of Charleston, WV., Betsy Asher, Marsha Asher, both of Versailles, IN., Joyce Box of Bethlehem, IN., Christy (Dave) James of Goode, VA., Darline (Paul) King of New Port Richey, FL., and Malinda (Lee) Downey of Madison, IN; grandsons, Braylen W. Williams and Jayden M. Hagan; grand-daughters, Destiny Adcock and Bella Lanham Williams; along with many nephews and nieces, as well as special family and friends, Jesse Annice Barnett, Cathy Barnett, Katie A. Barnett, Eric W. Barnett, and Jamie (Tara) Yancey, of Taylorsville, also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robyn Renee Asher Adcock were held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018, at the Little Mount Baptist Church. Bro. David Clay and Bro. Chad Goodlett officiated. Interment was in Little Mount Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home. Additional visitation was Monday at the Church after 10 a.m. until time of funeral service. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the .
