Willie M. Curtsinger, 77, of Taylorsville, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at his residence.
A lifelong resident of Spencer County, he was a retired farmer and son of the late Herbert and Nellie Hardin Curtsinger. He attended the Norton Ridge Prayer House Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Curtsinger, and son, James Carlton Curtsinger.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Curtsinger, of Taylorsville; daughters Anna Burden, Melissa Redmon, both of Taylorsville, and Beth Chesser of Springfield; sons, Billy, Gary and Willie Jr. Curtsinger, all of Taylorsville, Tommy Curtsinger of Fairfield, and Kelly Curtsinger of Mount Washington; sisters, Frances Nation and Hazel Hardin, both of Taylorsville; brother, Thomas Curtsinger of Mount Eden; and 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Oct. 2 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home.
Services: Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Sister Linda Norton and Bro. David Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Willie Curtsinger Memorial Fund in care of Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home.
