Betty Frances Shelburne, 70, of Taylorsville, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.

She was born in Taylorsville. She was a homemaker and she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Annie Pearl Inghram Goodlett; her sisters, Cora Mae, Anita Florence and Velinda Mae Goodlett; her brothers, Leonard, Hubert Allen, Verdman O'Dell, Lebert Carlton, James Garnett and John Richard Goodlett.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Netherton of Taylorsville, Theresa Murphy of Mount Eden, Annette Shelburne of Mount Eden; her sons, Jessie Shelburne of Mount Eden and Brian Shelburne of Mount Eden; her sisters, Wilma Pearl Goodlett and Hazel Rosetta Thompson; her brothers, Eddie Ray Goodlett and Alpheus Eugene Goodlett; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 18, from 2 to 8 p.m., at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home.
Services: Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Greenwell-Houghlin Chapel with Sister Deborah Peach and Brother Chad Goodlett officiating, with burial following at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville.
