David SMITH Obituary

SMITH, David Allen David Allen Smith was born in 1946 to Robert and Dorothy Smith in Spokane, WA. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1965 and attended Spokane Community College. He left school to join the army and served with the 73rd SAC in Vietnam. He finished his education when he returned and worked in various locations throughout the state as a Master Electrician and Stationary Engineer. David spent many years at Darigold, Hawthorn Manor, Sacred Heart and Central Washington University. He eventually moved to Seattle where he worked as a Building Engineer before retiring and returning to Spokane. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Smith and his nephew, Timothy Smith. David is survived by two sons, Travis (Kim) and Sam Smith, both of Seattle, a brother, Ron (Zoe) Smith of Suncrest, a sister, Lynette (Dan) Kish of Spokane, his mother, Dorothy Smith of Spokane and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the LDS church at the corner of 40th and Bowdish in Spokane Valley.
