Don was my family physician for a time in Seattle. I remember his engaging personality and sense of humor. His obit speaks to his many interests and his determination to serve others. We should all live as usefully as he did.

Doc Don was the finest GP I have ever had, and he knew a thing or two about the horses. I had seen his name as an owner on some stock running in SoCal, and was hoping to meet up with him and pick some winners. Rest in Peace, you were one in a million!
