BERNA, Robert Harve "Bob" 9/28/54- 1/2/13 Born in Victoria, TX. Married to Bronwyn 1974-1983 sharing a daughter and married to Linda 1984- 2010 sharing three children. He has lived in Spokane for 27 years, working for Albertsons 26 years. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Andy Bennett, and granddaughter Savannah Walker, all of Walla Walla; daughter Heather, and (twins) daughter Mackenzie and son Mason; and brother Patrick Berna all of Spokane; sister and brother-in-law, Jinni and Del Aldous of Portland; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Patsy Ryder, father Robert Dale Berna, stepfather Marvin Stephens, brother Chris Berna, and son-in-law Jon Walker. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and playing the guitar. He has touched many lives with his humor, stories, wisdom and compassion. He was a wonderful father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. A memorial will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 am, at the Elks Lodge, 2605 N. Robie Rd. Spokane Valley, WA. Donations can be made to the Robert Berna Memorial Fund at any Numerica branch, or mailed to Numerica c/o Robert Berna Memorial Fund, PO Box 4000, Spokane WA 99037.

Robert, we had so much fun growing up together. You were more to me than a cousin, you were like the big brother I never had. When you came to Harlingen to visit, we went everywhere together.
