June 30, 1958 - August 14, 2015 ROCCO POLITO passed away at the age 57 on Friday, August 14, 2015. He graduated from Gonzaga Prep High School in 1976 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Gonzaga University. He is survived by his parents Natale and Lucia and younger siblings Frank, Maria, Teresa and Nat. Rocco will be remembered for his outgoing personality and love of life, his carefree spirit and sense of humor. After moving to San Diego in 2004, Rocco enjoyed family gatherings, home-cooked meals, sports (especially NFL Football) and playing poker. Rocco had a deep love of family and faith in Jesus Christ. He will be missed as great son, brother, uncle and friend.

PARR, Jean B. - Harrington  
PARR, Jean B. (Age 92) Of Harrington, Washington, passed away Tuesday morning, September 1, 2015 in Davenport, Wash-ington. Born in Reardan, Washington to Homer and Clara Kennedy on February 22, 1923, Jean moved to Odessa, Washington at a young age and graduated from Odessa High School. On November 6, 1941 in Odessa, Washington, Jean Kennedy's life took a lifelong turn when she married Robert Parr of Harrington, Washington. Together they settled in the Mohler/Harrington area and raised their family, who thrived on Jean's wonderful cooking. Jean enjoyed being an active lifetime member of the Eastern Star of Davenport, Washington. Predeceased by her loving husband of thirty-two years, Robert Parr (1973); son, Stanley Parr (2005) and son-in-law, Jim Ross (1998). Jean's legacy lives on through her daughter, Nancy Ross of Bothell, Washington; two grandchildren, Shannon Harvill (Chris) and Jason Ross (Becca) all of Snohomish, Washington; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Harvill, Ashley Harvill, Marshall Ross and Emmie Ross; her sister, Laura Hardt of Spokane, Washington; sister-in-law, Colleen Parr of Marietta, Georgia and numerous nephews and nieces. A visitation for Jean will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Strate Funeral Home in Davenport, Washington with her graveside service at 10:00am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Harrington Cemetery, Harrington, Washington. Jean's family requests that any donations be given in her memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 911 W. 5th Ave. Spokane, WA 99204. March 28, 1945 - March 8, 2015 Patrica "Pat" passed away on March 8th 2015. Born and raised in Spokane WA, she lived in Sparks NV for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Rich Soule. Survivors include her daughter Wendy, son David, sister Carol and her grandchildren LaToya and Nick and great-grandchild Jamiah. She will always be remembered for her gentle soul and kind spirit, for being a loving mother, for caring for animals, and for seeing only the best in people and life. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at her daughter's home (339 W Nebraska Spo WA) on Friday, September 4th at 4:00pm.

PARSONS, Roy Alexander - Spokane  
PARSONS, Roy Alexander (Age 41) Roy Alexander Parsons, of Spokane, died at his home on August 19th. Roy was born at Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, California on April 8, 1974. He was the son of Gary Lee Parsons and Nancy Wetherby Parsons. The family left California shortly after his birth and moved to Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Moses Lake and Ephrata Washington was the family's next move in 1991. Roy spent his early adult years in Eastern Washington. He married Crystal Hammond and they made a home in Kennewick, Washington. Daughter, Ivy was born in nearby Finley. Roy was a hands on guy and worked many jobs. He moved to Spokane in 2012 following his divorce. Roy worked for Senske in Kennewick and for Spokane Produce in Spokane. He obtained his CDL and drove oil trucks in North and South Dakota. He found a dream job driving trucks for the North by Northwest production of "Z Nation". A family viewing was held at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22nd. A Celebration was held that day at his parents' home. Many family, friends and coworkers attended. Roy is survived by his parents, Gary and Nancy Parsons of Spokane; his daughter, Ivy, of Meridian, ID; sisters, Christy Dodge (Mark) and Abby of Spokane; and brothers, Joe, James and Andy of Spokane; and Mary Fosvick, of Ramsey, MN; nephews, Cody and Nathan and niece, Lua, also of Spokane. Extended family include: Aunt Leah Wetherby of Wauconda, IL; cousins, Michelle Rudisill of Gates, NC and Charlotte Bogenski, of Mundelein, IL. Also many more aunts, uncles and cousins living across the states.

Peterson, Gary L.  
August 12, 1935 - August 23, 2015 It is with great sorrow that the family of Gary L Peterson announces his passing on Sunday, August 23rd. He was 80 years old. Gary is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen, and three children, Ricky, Cheryl and Diana as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gary's life was characterized by a love for his family, for automobiles and music, especially his fellow Spokane native, Bing Crosby.

PETERSON Jr., Roy Verle "RV" "Bud" - Spokane  
PETERSON, Roy Verle, Jr. "Bud" "RV" (Age 63) "RV", who lived with Metastatic Melanoma for four years, died peacefully at home August 14, 2015. Born and raised in Spokane, he graduated from Ferris HS in 1970. He and wife/partner, Barbara, lived a fulfilling life on their mini-farm for 37 years, raising gardens and animals, sledding, and x-c skiing. Years of road trips, softball, volleyball, music festivals, biking, camping, canoeing, playing pool with friends and family rounded out a good life. Know as "Bud" to his work mates, he worked on a foundation crew as a young man, then became an ironworker, primarily working at Central Premix. Ultimately, he ran his own successful business, True to Form Footings, for residential and commercial construction. He is remembered by friends and family as the coolest brother, uncle, friend anyone could ask for, a strong, warm, sincere and generous man with a high sense of fairness. He enriched our lives, making and sharing a lifetime of good memories. RV in his Jag will not be easily forgotten. We are so very thankful for the amazing support of friends, family and Hospice of Spokane throughout this summer. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the Circle of Life at their home, September 19, from 2:00pm.
