Passed away at her home on July 16, 2011 in Fife, WA formerly of Wilbur, WA. She is survived by her parents Bob and Jeanette Bandy of Wilbur, WA, one brother Robert (and Julie) Bandy of Wilbur, WA, two sisters WillieAnn (Angie) (and Patrick) Donahue of Renton, WA and Melinda (Mindy) (and Neil) Muller of Spokane, WA. Six nieces and nephews Hannah and Blaine Bandy, Connor and Morissa Donahue, Dyllan and Greyson Muller along with numerous friends and family. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Auburn, WA, 1994 Wilbur High School Graduate, 1999 Central WA University -" Cum Laude, with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education, 2004 graduate of Boise State University with a master's degree in Education Technology and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. She was an outstanding athlete both in high school (3 sports) and college where she played volleyball and track. She holds the record for the women's hammer throw at CWU. She taught and coached at Ocosta Elementary from 1999-2004, and taught Special Education at Sumner School district from 2004 to present with the last four years at Maple Lawn Elementary. She loved the outdoors, camping, flowers, gardening, hiking and volleyball. Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Community Presbyterian Church, Wilbur, WA with Pastor Heather Jepsen and Chuck Wyborney, officiating. In Lieu of flowers family asks the memorials be made to the Wilbur Amateur Athlete Assoc., Wildcat booster Club or the Wilbur Community Presbyterian Church.
