IMLER, Clifford M. November 2, 1946 - January 19, 2013 Clifford M. Imler was born to Chauncy C. Imler and Dorcas D. (Brose) Imler in Colfax, WA. He passed on January 19, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California, surrounded by his loving family. He was a 35-year resident of Merced. He grew up in Potlatch, Idaho on the family farm with three sisters: Mildred (Milly) (Imler) Krasselt of Potlatch, ID; Doriene (Imler) Morton of The Dalles, OR; and Grace (Imler) Engelhard of Spokane, WA. He attended Potlatch and Palouse elementary schools and graduated from Palouse High School in 1966. After graduating he enrolled in the U.S. Air Force in Spokane, WA. He served his country as a jet engine mechanic from 1967 to 1970 and was honorably discharged from Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA. He met and married Cecelia Anne Johnston of Chowchilla, CA on February 2, 1973, and together they had two children. His daughter, Jeanette (Imler) Martin, lives with her husband, Jason Martin, and two sons, Wade (12) and Cole (9). His son, Micah Imler, lives with his girlfriend Bethany Holcomb and their two daughters, Courtney (5) and Caitlyn (1) all in Merced. He leaves behind many, many loving family and friends that will miss him dearly. A very special thank you to my Aunt Grace in Spokane! She was willing to care for him through several difficult years and she was instrumental in bringing him home for his precious final months. We are forever grateful for her support! Please join us for burial services on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., at Colfax Cemetery in Colfax, WA, followed by a luncheon at Elmore United Methodist Church, 6147 Highway 95, Potlatch, ID 83855.
