Laurie KRIET Obituary

KRIET, Laurie Jean Laurie passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2013 following a struggle with stomach and intestinal problems. Laurie was born and raised in northern Michigan, lived in Montana and settled in Spokane, Washington where she owned and managed Masters & Co., a small printing business. A member of numerous community organizations, she was a member of Spokane Rotary Club 21 for 24 years. Her devotion to the Spokane community was reflected in the hundreds of hours of personal time devoted to the Rotary organization at both the club level and the district level. She was also a gifted piano player who could not read music but could reproduce any piece of music after hearing it once or twice. She shared this gift with her friends as well as at the Rotary Club lunch meetings throughout her member- ship. Laurie, her smile, her laughter will be remembered by the many friends who shared their lives with her and they will be ever thankful that she brought them into her life. Her "LuluBelle" will miss her and the friendship they shared. We all will remember the love of life she shared with us.
