Ronald A. Helgesen

June 14, 1963 - July 8, 2013 Ronald A. Helgesen Jr. passed away from heart failure on July 8, 2013. Ron was born on June 14, 1963 (Flag Day) to Ronald and Anita Helgesen of Portland, Oregon. Ron was a Spokane resident for 47 years and was heavily involved in Peoples First, where he sat as president for 3 terms. He also served 3 years on the board for WPAS. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church since 1989. Ron was invited to meet the Governor of Washington and President Clinton in WA D.C. Ron loved people, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the Dallas Cowboys, his family and most of all God. He is survived by his spouse of 18 years Dannette Price; son, Anthony Lawrence (Tony); two brothers, Robert Helgesen & Chris Helgesen; one sister, Brooke Helgesen and 11 nieces and nephews: Austin, Jordan, Parker, Taytum, Bryce, Lance, Gabe, Macey, Kaden, Kendall, Kane and I great niece Audrie. Funeral service will be held on July 24, 2013 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 330 E. Boone Ave Spokane, WA 99202 at 11:00 a.m. Private Committal will be held at Riverside Memorial Park. Memorials and donations may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
