Walter REITER Obituary

REITER, Walter Edward 93 Years of Life A longtime resident of Deer Park, Washington, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013. He is the dear husband of Ruth Reiter, and Walter's brothers are Terry Reiter of Caldwell, Idaho, Gordon Reiter of Vancouver, Washington, and Tom Reiter of Tacoma, Washington. Born in 1919 to Louis Albert Reiter and Edith Amelia Peterson Reiter at Deer Park, Walt attended Deer Park Grade School and graduated from Deer Park High School with Class of 1936. He served with the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre and was with POW transport. After WWII, Walt was with Bonneville Power Admnistration as a journeyman line inspector retiring in 1979. Upon retiring, Walt and Ruth returned to their ranch north of Deer Park. Mr. Reiter was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the American Legion, the Elks Lodge, and the F.O. of Eagles. LAUER FUNERAL HOME in Deer Park, Washington.
