On May 5, 2011 Beverly peacefully passed away in Spokane Valley, WA. Beverly was born on April 23, 1931 at home in Grygla, Minnesota to John and Elizabeth Brateng. Beverly was the fourth child out of eight siblings. In June of 1948 Beverly married Arvid Anderson and together they had six children. Beverly later remarried in 1972 and together they had a son. In 1978 Beverly was blessed with meeting Rex Burris, who became the love of her life. They enjoyed 23 wonderful years until his passing in 2001. Beverly had a passion for flowers and gardening. She also loved to sew, cook, read and especially loved the family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rex; daughters, Elizabeth Zeller and Susan Anderson; son, Jay Faircloth; sister, Joyce Landsrud; and brothers, Gordon, Vernon and Lyle Brateng. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ron) Schultz; son, Richard Anderson; daughter, Helen Anderson; daughter, Nancy Seifert; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and stepchildren. Beverly was an amazing mother, best friend, and was always there when needed. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
