Peggy entered into rest April 9, 2011. Peggy was born to Elbert and Bertha Mitchell December 30, 1923, in Burnsville, Mississippi. Peggy liked to read, garden and enjoyed baking. She loved listening to her favorite music, and she was very fashionable and full of class. She was very loved by her family and friends and will be very missed by those lucky enough to have known her. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Phelps, her daughter, Patricia Jensen, and three sisters and one brother. She is survived by niece and nephew-in-law, "daughter and son", Kaytie (Brian) Baret, of Spokane, WA; sisters, Lucille Beeson and Wanda Culver, of Altus, OK; two granddaughters, Tammy Taylor, of Hermiston, OR and Candy Wilson of Boise, ID, and several other nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.

Peggy was a sweet lady. I spoke to her the day before she passed away. Peggy and my mom are visiting in heaven right now. I can't believe they passed away within one day of each other. See you again Peggy.
