Muriel Bauer Obituary

BAUER,
Muriel L.
(Age 92)

On April 25, 2011, our beloved mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully at Guardian Angel Homes, with family and friends at her side. Muriel was born on August 20, 1918, to Martin and Sophia Olson in Norma, North Dakota, and was the oldest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Arlene Fitzmaurice; and brother, Arvid Olson. Muriel was married to Theodore Bauer in 1946. They enjoyed many happy years together, raising two daughters, and in later years, travelling to Nevada and Arizona during winter months to enjoy warmer weather. Her husband and daughter, Marla Dolan, have also preceded her in death. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Judy (Bill) Nichols of Liberty Lake; brother, Donovan Olson of Devils Lake, North Dakota; granddaughters, Heather Dreves, Haley Ochse, Heidi Tipton, Richelle Randall, Kala Dolan; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the wonderful staff at Guardian Angel Homes for their warmth, kindness, compassion and loving care over the past four years. Also, a special thank you to the wonderful caregivers of Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care during the past several months. A private family celebration of Muriel's life will be held at a later date.
