Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Papa, Great Papa and Friend.
We love you and will miss you every day. Rest in Peace until we meet again in Heaven. You're back in Mom's arms where you belong.
Jim was born in Hoisington, Kansas in 1935 and moved to Washington in 1940 with his family. He graduated from Central Valley High school, met and married his sweetheart of 48 years in 1959. Jim and Linda moved to Chattaroy, Washington in 1968 where they raised their family.
He leaves behind a son David Jones and daughters Sharon Polello and Samantha Stevens, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, his sisters Carol Day (Joe) and Norma Johnson (Lou).
His wife preceded him in death in 2007 along with his parents and a brother and sister. He worked for Banner Fuel for over 20 years and loved to go salmon fishing and spend time with his family. He was a season ticket holder for the Spokane Indians for many years and will be missed this season.
The family will have a private interment on Saturday, March 26, 2011 with a reception to follow for family and friends at VFW Post 51 located at 300 W. Mission in Spokane at 1:30 PM.
