Betty M.
Betty, our beloved mom, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2011 at Sacred Heart Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born and raised in Chewelah, WA by Leo and Mary Vogt on October 16, 1930. Betty was a longtime resident of Spokane, WA. She attended Holy Names Academy and went on to Graduate from SFCC with two AAS degrees. Betty will be missed by her three children: Robert Casper, Debra Carrell and Dawn Thompson. Her daughter Denise Brophy preceded her in death. Betty had six grandchildren: Beth, Ben, Charley, Kodi, Skye and Torrey; and eleven great-grandchildren. Betty was always very thoughtful, loving and known to be caring and willing to give to others at any time. Betty loved yard work, puzzles, going to hockey games and sewing, but most of all she loved spending time with her loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:00am at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Spokane.
