Earl Ringle Obituary

RINGLE,
Earl M.
"N7ER"

October 19,1916 -" May 6, 2011. As an active Ham radio operator since age 16, Earl has met and talked to many people all around the world. His collection of contacts is enormous. His other hobby was his computor, which he soon learned to use in conjunction with his radio work. Many happy hours were spent in his radio "shack". Earl was born in Hillsborough, Oregon, to George and Nellie Ringle, and had one sister, Deloris Hollis, now deceased. He spent most of his working career as a chemist in the aluminum industry and was with Kaiser Aluminum for many years. He had many fond memories of working in the various Kaiser plants, but his favorite experience was the time he spent in the plant built by Kaiser in Ghana, West Africa. He was there with his first wife Inez, who was taken by cancer early in life. After retiring, Earl thoroughly enjoyed working part time with Crowd Management at the Spokane Opera House until he was 90 years old. He and his second wife, Jean, had over 37 years together, traveling abroad (cruising was their favorite), driving the country in their motor home and showing horses over much of Washington. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his daughter, Janice Ringle-Pointer and her husband Dan; his stepdaughter, Dana Burns and her husband Larry; two grandchildren, Kylee and Nick Burns; and his nephews Steven, Mike and Jeff Hollis. He lived a good life and will be missed by all.
