Earnestine Bernice "Tina"
(Age 65)
She was born January 24, 1946 in Portland, OR and passed away February 18, 2011. Tina accepted Christ at an early age, first uniting with Calvary Baptist Church then Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. At Morning Star she served as a Deaconess, Sanctuary Choir Member, worked in the Missionary Department, Two Circles: Rebecca and Esther, a faithful Bus Driver and Announcement Clerk. She married the Late Elijah Bowers in October of 1967 and he passed in 2009. To this union were born a son Anthony and wife Geraldine of Tacoma, WA; daughter Cynthia Bowers of Spokane and son Christopher and wife Jessica of Spokane. Also survived by a sister Patty Holley of California; brothers Charles Holley of Spokane and Bobby Holley of California; grandchildren Kendra, LaMondtra, Emmanuel, A'Nya, Kortney and Samiyah; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday, Noon-5PM at Heritage. Funeral Service 11:00AM Saturday February 26, 2011 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3909 W. Rowan.

Dear Tina,
My heart filled with sadness the day I heard you had passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of you that I will never forget. The times you took care of me and my sisters I truly will cherish for the rest of my life. I can remember riding home with you on the church bus, we all would be laughing and having a wonderful time. You always dropped us off last just so we could spend a little more time riding around with you. I am thankful that I got to know such a wonderful person. I know you are a beautiful angel on high now watching over your beautiful family. I love you Tina and God Bless you and your family.
