Rose Richardson Obituary

RICHARDSON,
Rose Marie
A lifelong resident of
Spokane, Rose Marie
Richardson passed away
on January 31, 2011.
Born October 14, 1933 to
Evelyn and Hap Peterson,
she was the youngest of
four children, and
graduated from North
Central High School.
She married Thomas
Richardson on July 20, 1957, and was an extraordinary mother to three children, Stephanie Kaye, Susan Willert, and Thomas Richardson. She went on to become a real estate agent, and later found her passion in the downtown bookstore she owned and operated, New Dawn. She was a fun and caring grandmother to her two grandchildren, Anna Kaye and Raquel Willert. Rose Marie had an eye for decorating, and exquisite taste in clothes; enjoyed volunteering at local hospitals; and was generous and compassionate in all her relationships. She is survived by her children and grandchildren; sons-in-law Lenny Kaye and Al Willert; daughter-in-law Nicole Richardson; three sisters-in-law, Grace Cowan, Gladys Jacklin, and Ellie Richardson; brother-in-law Seth Oliver, and best friend Marilyn Barnes.
A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 2 P.M.
