I knew Gina in high school. I was probably one friend that drove her a little crazy, but we had many good times, especially riding the high school ski bus to one of the resorts. We went bike riding together a lot. She was a good Christian person. She was very smart and attractive, I wished I could be like her. I once had a dream way after high school. We were at the top of a beautiful mountain but she said she couldn't ski anymore. I googled her and found out about her premature death and then I saw that she was memorialized at a church in my neighborhood near Cannon Cliff that I can walk by any day on my way to Manito Park. I wish I could have been able to stay in touch after high school but we both went to college and went our separate ways. She was a very special person to me.

Willie, David and Doug, I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always have fond memories of Gina smiling and laughing. And all the fun we used to have up at Glacier Park. She used to roller skate with Laura and I in our basement and we would race around like crazy just screaming and laughing for hours! That's how I will always remember her.

Dear Willie, David & Doug, My memories of Gina are of her ALWAYS making me laugh. She was so much fun and so happy! This picture of her is so beautiful. It took my breath away when I saw it. I know she is finally free and at peace. I will never ever forget her.

I had the great privilege of caring for Regina at Regency, and I can say one thing for sure about her, she sure did love Jesus. We loved to talk about heaven and what is was going to be like when we get there and all the great things that we will get to do. Gina you will be missed here on earth but now is your time to rest until Jesus comes again in the clouds to take us home to be with him forever amen.

Dear Aunt Willie, Dougie and David,
In my memory, Gina is forever fixed as my daring younger cousin, always first to leap off the mountain of hay, grabbing the rope swing and dropping into the pit below. And usually the first one to pick herself up, and casually mention, while rubbing her behind, "Ouch, I think we need more padding-- spread some more hay .." (And how annoyed my dad would be in the middle of winter when he finally came across our haylined pit, and found all the bales we had broken.) Her easy grin, ready laugh and joy in life lit my childhood summers, and I forever treasure those memories. My sadness at Gina's passing is tempered by the happiness of knowing she's once more fit and strong, and joyous in God's presence.

Aunt Willie, David, and Doug,
When I heard the news that God reached through heaven's gates, took our Gina by the hand, and brought her home, my heart rejoiced and broke all at the same time. I pray that you feel God's presence and comfort...that He reminds us all of Gina's gentle, loving spirit often... Until we see her in heaven, let's hold Gina's memory tightly and love each other dearly.

I once told Gina that when I looked at her that I felt that I saw Jesus. She always touched my heart. I first met her before I was diagnosed with MS myself. Her courage and love for Christ inspired me. When I went to minister to her, she ministered to me.

Gina, such memorable hours spent together sharing God's Word, and personal stories. Your love for Christ shown through every day. You touched the lives of so many people by your radiant smile and your never ending fortitude. My true inspiration. "Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Is 40:31. You can run now, Gina, and never grow weary!

I had the privilege to pray with Gina for the past 2 years. Her joy in the Lord was continually an inspiration to me.
