Our dear aunt Katharina M. Rose passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. Born in Seligenstadt, Germany to Johann and Margaret Ruhland on April 8, 1930. She entered the U.S. as a war bride through Ellis Island. Resided in Bremerton, WA and Tacoma, WA before moving to Medical Lake, WA in 1991. She was a foster grandparent for several years at the Medical lake Elementary School until her health deteriorated. She is survived by her niece Elisabeth Moseley of Medical Lake and nephew Peter Ruhland and family of Berlin, Germany, and numerous nieces. Also grand nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 7 at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL., Cheney, WA.
