Bill Earl

Born Dec. 28, 1916 in Sydney, Montana to Earl Linn, and Francis Elizabeth McKee, and died March 12, 2011 in Spokane, WA. Bill married Natalie Bernice Parks in 1940 in Coeur d' Alene, ID.
He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1936.
Bill is survived by three children: Jerome McKee, Craig McKee and Maureen Erickson and seven grandchildren: Genevieve and Bill McKee, Bobby and Martin Fortier, Garth, Dirk, and Dane Erickson.
Following his retirement from Hecla Mining Co., Bill worked as a professor at the University of Idaho, where he taught Mining engineering, and as an engineering consultant to NASA.
Natalie and Bill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990.
They loved living in Osburn where they enjoyed many wonderful friendships. They also loved Priest Lake and traveled extensively.
Natalie Parks McKee, beloved wife and mother, died in December 1994. Bill lived in Spokane with his daughter and grandsons and Siberian Husky, Yukon for several years. They loved their grandchildren and attended all their school and athletic events.
Services will be held in Wallace, Idaho at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 11:00 am Thursday, March 17, with a reception to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Met Bill working at Hecla - we flew together several times, we were the best of friends. We lived near each other in Osburn. Thought of him many times in last fifty years, great guy and I still miss him. I briefly met his daughter Maureen.
