EATON, Mary Elizabeth (French)
July 31, 1921 - February 16, 2011

Mary was born in Moscow, Idaho to William Thomas French and Lilly Virlee Hurt French. A longtime resident of Spokane, Mary served in the US Army Medical Corps during World War II.

She is survived by one sister, Mabel Wheeler of Colfax, WA; one brother, James Benjamin "Ben" French of Deer Park, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Monte Loy Eaton; brothers, Walter, Dick, Dan, Roy and Bob; and sisters, Caroline Weibe, Mollie Quist, Maud Hall, Lillian Gibbs, Edith Burton, Francis Schultz and Virginia "Jenny" Wetherelt.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2011 in the Alwin Chapel at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. MONROE ST. in Spokane. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
